Features of the Web Interface

Once the monitoring line card has been properly configured (http://www.myri.com/cgi-bin/fom?file=374), we can now explore the features of the web interface.

When a web browser is opened to the IP address of the switch (http://<ip_address_of_switch>/), the following top-level webpage will appear.

Note:

• The Clear Counters feature was added in v0.9.7.1 of the switch firmware, the Write Settings to Flash and Erase Settings from Flash features were added in version v0.9.8.8 of the switch firmware, and the Set Admin Password feature was added in v0.9.9.1 of the switch firmware.
• Older versions of the web interface (prior to shipfs.img.v0.9.9.3) listed separate Upgrade Firmware web pages for the monitoring line card and the remaining line cards. Beginning with switch firmware version 0.9.9.3, we have simplified this procedure by providing one unified switch firmware which upgrades the firmware on all line cards at once.
