Clicking on slot 27 10G-POWER from the Status menu will display the following information for the power supplies.
This webpage for the 10G-POWER power board is subdivided into categories: general information, uc, and 10G-POWER. Each section/category contains a variety of counters and state bits related to the operation or health of the power board. As a general rule, a non-zero value for a state bit or counter should be investigated as it may indicate an abnormality in the functioning of the hardware.
By default, this web page displays the information in a condensed format, and you must click on the individual components (e.g., voltage, temperature) in order to view the details for each. If you prefer to view the verbose output, click on all in the top righthand corner of the web page. To return to the condensed format for the output, you will need to go back to a previous web page, and then return to this web page.
Click on the name of the counter/state bit below, and the hyperlink will forward to the glossary for its definition and a list of possible causes for the non-zero value.
The general information section of the webpage includes:
serial number -- the serial number for 10G-CLOS-ENCL switch enclosure.
engineering date code -- internal Myricom manufacturing information.
firmware version -- internal Myricom use.
monitor version -- internal Myricom use.
The uc section provides information pertaining to the health of the microcontroller on the power board.
state -- the operational state for the power board.
1 byte: bitwise status
0x80: fan bad
0x40: output undervoltage shutdown
0x20: output overvoltage shutdown
0x10: output overload shutdown
0x08: overtemperature shutdown
0x04: standby voltage bad
0x02: output voltage bad
0x01: AC input bad
scratchpad
reboot: <n>
This clickable variable hyperlinks to a webpage to reboot the microcontroller on the power board, or the microcontrollers on all of the switch line cards.
Checking the reboot box and clicking on Apply on this webpage will set this <n> state bit value to 1 and trigger the rebooting of the selected microcontroller(s).
The 10G-POWER section provides information on the two power supplies on the power board.
10g_power_supply 0 through 10g_power_supply 3
Clicking on 10g_power_supply 0 will reveal the following state bits and counters related to the operation of this power supply.
Click on the name of the state bit or counter below and the hyperlink will forward to the glossary for its definition and a list of possible causes for the non-zero value.
