Features of the Web Interface

Once the monitoring line card has been properly configured (http://www.myricom.com/kb/index.php?title=How_do_I_configure_the_monitoring_line_card_(10G-MONITOR)_in_the_Myri-10G_switch_(10G-CLOS-ENCL)%3F), we can now explore the features of the web interface.

When a web browser is opened to the name or IP address of the switch (e.g., http://tn-switch10/), the following top-level webpage will appear.

Note:

• The Sync Ports feature should be ignored. The same switch firmware is used for the 10G-MONITOR and the M3-MONITOR (used in the M3-CLOS-ENCL* and M3-SPINE-ENCL-* switches) but this feature is only used for the M3-MONITOR.
• Older versions of the web interface (prior to shipfs.img.v0.9.9.3) listed separate Upgrade Firmware web pages for the monitoring line card, 10G-SW16LC-6C2ER line cards, and the rest of the line cards (10G-SW16LC-8C, 10G-SW16LC-8Q, and 10G-2SW16LC). Beginning with switch firmware version 0.9.9.3, we have simplified this procedure by providing one unified switch firmware which upgrades the firmware on all line cards at once.
