  • Provides line-rate throughput with 100% lossless packet capture and injection for all Ethernet packet sizes.
  • Reduces latency with a packet capture mechanism that adapts to incoming packet rates such that packets can be received within a couple of microseconds.
  • Uses partitioning, duplication, and process sharing for enhanced multi-core awareness:
    • By partitioning incoming flows across available CPU cores, Sniffer10G 2.0 can relax the processing time constraints under high packet loads for applications performing deep packet inspection (DPI).
    • Sniffer10G 2.0 can duplicate incoming packets into multiple receive rings so that multiple CPU cores can concurrently apply different search criteria on the same data.
  • Timestamps all incoming packets in the Myri-10G network adapter to reflect actual packet arrival time.
  • Provides send queues that can work in conjunction with the standard Ethernet driver for transmission.
  • Allows network traffic from two or more ports, from the same or different Myri-10G adapters, to be aggregated into a single logical receiver
