How can I monitor my Myrinet network?

There are a variety of monitoring choices for Myrinet networks.

We highly recommend the Fabric Management System (FMS) to monitor the Myrinet-2000 network.

Other switch interfaces are the HTTP web interface, and the TFT Color display found on the switch front panel. See this web page for a tutorial of the features of the web interface and the TFT Color Display of the Myrinet-2000 Switches for Large Clusters.

In addition, there is a SNMP interface which is discussed here: Does the monitoring line card in the Clos256 Myrinet-2000 switches (M3-CLOS-ENCL* or M3-SPINE-ENCL*) support SNMP?

We highly recommend that you download FMS to monitor the health of the Myrinet network.
