Overview
Myricom, Inc. ("Myricom") is committed to safeguarding your personal information and maintaining your privacy. Throughout this Policy, Myricom will refer to information that personally identifies you as "personal information." The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to protect your personal information. Except where explicitly stated otherwise, this Policy applies to all of the information you provide passively or actively via access to the www.myricom.com website, via forms you may submit on the www.myricom.com website, or in your communications with Myricom by email.
How Myricom Protects Your Personal Information:
Myricom does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and Myricom uses commercially reasonable efforts to protect the security and confidentiality of your personal information that may be stored on Myricom's computers.

(i) Myricom discloses personal information to companies that help Myricom provide services you request via the website, for example, a company that ships products or replacements, or mails out information on our products or services;
(ii) Sometimes Myricom enters into contracts with resellers or other third parties so that they can assist Myricom in providing services. Myricom's contracts with such companies prohibit them from using any of your personal information for their own purposes, and Myricom requires those third parties to maintain the confidentiality of the information Myricom has provided to them;
(iii) In limited circumstances, Myricom may disclose or report personal information where Myricom believes, in good faith, that disclosure is required or permitted by law; and
(iv) Myricom may share information with others if you give Myricom your prior consent.
Personal Information That May be Collected
Myricom collects personal information in the normal course of business in order to reply to requests for quotations, requests for access to software, requests for technical support, requests for return-merchandise authorizations (RMAs), and, in general, to provide better service. The information Myricom collects may include name, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and the method of payment you provide if by credit card. Myricom will never ask for or accept information that includes your date of birth, social-security or other identification numbers, financial information, or demographic information such as age, income level, or gender.
The Myricom web site routinely logs the date and time at which any system on the Internet accesses www.myricom.com, searches performed at www.myricom.com, the pages that you visit on www.myricom.com, the sequence in which you visit them, the amount of time that you spend on any given page of www.myricom.com, the Internet address of the host on which your web browser was running, and the material that you have downloaded from www.myricom.com. This information does not identify you other than by the Internet address of the host computer on which your web browser was running. Myricom does not access information about the web site that you visited immediately before visiting www.myricom.com, the Internet address of the site that you visit immediately after leaving www.myricom.com, the type of operating system (e.g., Macintosh, Windows) on your computer, or the type of web browser (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer) that you are using to view www.myricom.com.
Additionally, www.myricom.com does not presently but may in the future place Internet "cookies" on visitors' hard drives. Internet "cookies" are tiny data files that save the visitor's name, password, user-name, shopping cart (if applicable), screen preferences, the pages of www.myricom.com viewed by the visitor, and the advertisements viewed or clicked by the visitor. Myricom uses commercially reasonable efforts to keep your personal information accurate and current and continually evaluates its efforts to protect personal information. Notice of Changes to this Policy
Myricom may add to, delete, or change the terms of this Policy from time to time, and will provide you with a notice of any changes via a link on the www.myricom.com home page. If Myricom ever intends to disclose personal information under terms that are more liberal than this Policy, Myricom will give you advance notice of the proposed change via the mailing address you provide to us. You will have an opportunity to "opt-out" of such disclosure.
